Chalks are great to use with rubber stamps, as you can get good results with very little effort.They are super for blending colors and achieving soft pastel effects. They can be used for shading in areas, creating backgrounds, coloring in a stamped design, etc.
The first method of using chalks is quite simply by stamping an image with a versamark pad, and then, using a cotton wall ball applying your different colour chalks. Remember always start with the lighter colour first.The image will simply 'pop out'.
Another method of applying chalk is by using an ear bud or eye shadow applicator. Unwanted marks can be removed with a rubber.
Some people say that you should seal your image with perhaps a light coating of hair spray or sealant.
