At a workshop back in February 2007, Tim taught us a number of techniques for using the acrylic paint dabbers, and recommended that you use them in sets of three to include a light, bright & earthtone.
Rules of Use:
Always shake the paint dabber & tap on scrap paper to get the paint flowing
Blended Masking:
Paint the entire area using the earthtone colour
Let it dry completely and apply your mask or stencil over the tag and paint additional layers of light & bright tones over the entire tag including the mask. Blend the colours with cut n dry foam whilst the paint is wet. Let it dry & remove the mask to reveal the design
Paint Resist
Paint onto your rubber or foam stamp in a light tone.
Stamp image onto tag & let dry or dry with a heat tool. Apply distress ink to cut n dry foam & ink entire tag * covering your painted image.Wipe over tag with a damp cloth to remove the ink from the painted area * the paint resists the distress ink.
